Cuisine Mode d’Emploi(s) was created by, the internationally-renowned chef Thierry Marx to provide training for apprentice chefs and assimilate skills and techniques during a 12-week training programme. The programme is diploma accredited. This allows apprentice chefs to become immediately operational when entering a professional kitchen.
The program is completely free of charge and the school provides the full equipment needed.
Sofronie supported the refurbishment and equipment of the new school in Grigny, South of Paris, which opened in April 2017.
Up to 100 people are be trained per year in traditional cuisine, and seafood catering, in Grigny an area that suffers from a high rate of unemployment generally. However skilled catering employees are in demand and the training programme offers hope to many young aspiring chefs and to the businesses that employ them.
