Connected Schools
Connected Schools is a not-for-profit organisation set up by Pascal Mabille, formerly the general manager at Motorola in Toulouse. Pascal enlisted the help of his engineers to kick start the project, working out how to set up wireless via satellite and store content database locally on a central server for fast connection. He very much hopes that the model being piloted in Cambodia can be used as a template for distance learning in underdeveloped countries across the world.
