Every Child a Chance Trust aims to unlock the educational potential of socially disadvantaged children through the development and promotion of evidence based, early intervention programmes. Following on from the success of the Every Child a Reader programme, a new partnership initiative between the Trust and government is underway called Every Child Counts. This programme aims to develop a highly effective numeracy intervention programme for young children with the greatest difficulties in mathematics which will enable them to achieve nationally expected attainment levels by the time they are seven. Sofronie Foundation has committed funds to the Every Child Counts programme.
