Welcome to the Sofronie Foundation website. We are a charitable grant-making foundation registered by the Charity Commission on March 30th 2007. We are privately funded and based in London, England. We fund charitable work in the UK and overseas.
Sofronie Foundation aims to improve the lives of children and young people in desperate need:
through education as a route out of poverty and disadvantaged circumstances; and
through particular attention given to the care, education and general support of children who are orphaned, abandoned (either in the physical or emotional sense) separated or at risk of being separated from their families.
Sofronie Foundation is proactive in seeking projects to fund and regret that it is not in a position to respond to unsolicited grant applications. We only fund registered charities. We do not fund individuals.
